ACTIVATED CARBON
Activated carbon will achieve a high gold adsorption rate provided that each stage of the gold recovery process is executed efficiently.
RC65 6×12 is preferably undertaken by Carbon-in-Leach applications because the carbon is continuously transferred between different stages of the process. Its larger particle size reduces the risk of breakage and minimizes the loss of fine particles that contain adsorbed gold.
RC65 8×16 is preferred in Carbon-in-Column systems due to its higher adsorption rate per unit surface area.
Extruded high-activity RC265S, a more uniform particle structure offers improved mechanical strength when carbon is moved between process stages.
